We are knowledgeable and educated to know such things as tardiness, fighting, using profanity, cheating, being disrespectful and throwing rackets are not in our GAME. Our GAME is DISCIPLINE, HARD WORK AND TEAMWORK!!!

PADDLES UP FOR KYLE!!!!

Just wanted to say "thank you" to all of you who have decided to do this fundraiser for me. I'm sorry to tell you folks so late but I felt now is the right timing for all of you to know. I have been battling lung cancer for 4 years now and things have gotten worse. I’ve done all types of chemo and other immunotherapy and nothing has worked. My lung cancer is terminal and I don’t how much time I have left in my life. This is why I haven’t been around at the tennis courts. I was trying to take care of my health. Going to chemo, doctors, surgeries, being in the hospital for days and weeks, etc. It has been very painful and stressful on my body and I wanted to let all of you know my doctor is trying her best to fight this cancer. This is why now is the time to let all of you know about my health situation. So thank you for all for your support!
Every week I will try and give you folks an update on my health.

Wow what a busy week. I had to do my Pet Scan and CT Scan on Monday and then I had to do my MRI Brain Scan on Thursday. Pretty tiring and stressful going to all these appointments. It's kinda of scary when the receptionist and nurses already know your name and you don't have to give them your ID card when checking in. Well this is the stressful part waiting for my results. I have a appointment with my oncologist on Tuesday and I will find out my results. Hopefully everything will be fine and the cancer is not growing. This is the stressful part waiting to see your doctor for your results.
Overall this week been okay. Not too much pain in the stomach and body. As long as I stay on schedule with my pain meds, I'm okay with dealing with my pain. But the sad part is I have to do my next round of chemo next week Friday. That's the bad part of chemo is after you start feeling well, you have to do it again. I hate it and it's tiring and mentally draining but I need to do it to keep me alive! Please pray for me on my Pet Scan, CT Scan, and MRI Brian Scan to be negative and everything is fine and the cancer is not growing and spreading.

Well got my results from my oncologist on Tuesday. Scans looks pretty good and she was happy with my results but there are some concerns. There are some spots in my lungs and she thinks its from the first cancer so now I have to go back to taking the tagrisso meds again. The other concern is there are many cancer cells in my brain now and she suggested that I will have to do a whole brain radiation. Not good but I should do it right away while the cancer cells are small. My main concern is the side affects such as dementia and loss of memory. But there are more positive things to do this whole brain radiation right now than later.
Tomorrow is my next round of chemo again and I am not looking forward to it. The last time wasn't so bad so hopefully it will be the same.
Please keep praying for me!
